My first home was a fixer upper with land in Williamson County. Our budget was limited but our talent, time and vision were not. Very little has been as rewarding as creating a dream that has come true one piece, room, and year at a time.

It started with needing a home with just enough space for our blended and growing family of youngsters, three sons and our daughter. It meant living on the inside of a home improvement project for nearly five years. Navigating the project was one thing, getting my children to sleep amid the drywall dust and singing from the sounds of power tools wrote a chapter in our family legacy I would not trade.

Being introduced to the dream, and witnessing how it was realized is what sparked a creative perspective for how we all find, choose, and fall in love with our homes.

It has now been nearly twenty years since the completion of our renovation, even though we continue to tweak it a little here and there. Likewise, it also birthed my commitment for helping others experience their dreams of home ownership whether buying, renovating, or investing.

The initial impression suggests first time buyers and seasoned investors all have similar desires and goals. Yet, as much as they may have commonalities, they each also have a very unique and individual vision for how they would like the outcome to unfold.

Along the way, I have learned while many folks buying and selling are also taking steps to realize a dream, there are various situations where folks may have mixed feelings – for some it is joy and for others it is simply meeting a need. This is where I discovered selling real estate is not about transactions, but instead about relationships and a good cup of coffee.

I cringe at the label, “customer” or “client” because it dilutes the truth. They are valued friendships. I believe in relationships for life. I believe in being your realtor for life. I believe in being your children’s realtor for life.

Doing so means I must earn the privilege to sell your first home, help you evolve as your dreams or needs change, advise with investment properties, or downsize when the time is right.

Investing in you the same way I invested in my own dream home. No dream is too small or too large.

It has been my pleasure guiding folks in every price point from a couple hundred thousand to multi-million dollar properties. Each of them represented something significant for the seller and buyer. These are the relationships that are meaningful for me, all of them.

So what’s next?

How about a cup of coffee and a conversation to chat about what’s next in your future?
